Home, or Not, for the Holidays

Do you have holiday parties to attend? Maybe a dinner with the family? A fun show to go watch or a school performance? How about a New Years party with friends?

Rebekah is an on trend pattern and can be worn in a myriad of ways and fabrics. Our admin team had such a fun time making a variety of Rebekahs to show you just how awesome Rebekah really is.

Both Jodi and Danielle used the boatneck, bishop sleeve, above knee length, straight hem options for these three.

Jodi’s fabric is a red ribbed sweater knit from So Sew English Fabrics. She styled it with a personal belt and some cute boots to have a semi casual yet dressy look. She plans to wear it and this "Jody" glitter sweater knit, also from So Sew English, as a dress for casual get togethers or knotted over leggings for kids holiday functions at school.

Danielle used a brushed hacci from So Sew English for this version. She paired it with some coordinating boot cuffs and boots. With the semi casual feel she plans to wear it to dinner with family, grocery shopping, and her daughter's winter recital.

Several of us had similar ideas and we used stretch lace for the sleeve. This is such a simple change and it completely takes it up a notch.

Sonia used modal ponte and stretch lace for her combo. She chose the bishop sleeves, boatneck, shirt length curved hem options. Paired with her Iris shorts, tights, and ankle boots she is ready to ring in the New Year.

Danielle and Jodi must have been on the same wave length because they both made gorgeous Rebekahs in black casino fabric for the bodice and cuffs with coordinating stretch lace for the sleeves, all from So Sew English.

They both used the bishop sleeves, boatneck, above knee length options. While Danielle went with the curved hem and Jodi chose the straight hem, they are both set for New Years Eve.

Do you have some sparkly or metallic fabric just waiting to be used? Rebekah is perfect for it!

Sonia is going to have a hard time choosing which outfit she is going to wear for New Years Eve because this sparkle hacci from So Sew English is just stunning! She did the turtleneck, bishop sleeve, with the optional sash. She did a little mod and cut her length between the shirt and above knee lengths, keeping a straight hem.

Jodi is going to be a total show stopper, at her Christmas party, in this sparkle hacci from So Sew English. She also did the optional sash and it really brings her whole outfit together. She did the boatneck, bishop sleeves with the straight hem above knee length.

How about velvet??

Velvet is everywhere for holiday wear and with the floral stretch mesh sleeves it gives you a less traditional holiday look and allows for wear even after the holidays are over. The mulberry stretch velvet and floral stretch mesh are both from Sincerely Rylee Fabrics. Danielle is obsessed with the bishop sleeves, boatneck, above knee length curved hem and went with them for this version as well.

Because of the relaxed fit Rebekah has, it allows for a great variety of fabrics and styling. You can tie it up with leggings, tuck it in to shorts, use a mix of options and even size down for a slimmer fit.

Danielle sized down one for this version she made in red casino fabric from So Sew English.

She picked her favorite options of boatneck, bishop sleeves, above knee length curved hem. Adding a personal belt and a fun Santa hat she is ready for a Christmas party out with her husband.

Afton sized her sleeves down one, and took in her bodice a bit, to make this gorgeous version. She added a zipper in the back and a fun neckline to wow on her recent cruise. The ombre sequin stretch mesh is from So Sew English.

No matter what your holiday plans may be, Rebekah is the perfect pattern to cover them all. We hope you enjoyed all our versions as much as we enjoyed sewing them up.
