Carrywell is designed to help you see what matters now without forcing you to maintain a complicated productivity system.
Built on Google Sheets
Carrywell Life runs inside Google Sheets.
Your planner information lives in a Carrywell workbook associated with your Google account. You can access your planner through the Google Sheets apps and website just like your other Google Sheets files.
Carrywell does not require you to move your planner information into a separate Carrywell account or external planning database.
Optional Google Calendar Connection
Carrywell can connect your Events & Appointments to Google Calendar.
When you choose Connect My Calendar, Carrywell creates a separate calendar specifically for Carrywell events.
Carrywell can then create, update, and remove corresponding events on that Carrywell-created calendar as you manage appointments in your planner.
Calendar connection is optional.
Carrywell does not request unrestricted access to every calendar in your Google account.
Upgrade Without Starting Over
When a newer version of Carrywell becomes available, Upgrade from Previous Version can help bring supported information from your previous Carrywell workbook into the newer version.
You choose the previous workbook.
Carrywell reads the supported planner information from that file and transfers it into the new Carrywell while leaving the original workbook unchanged.
This may include information such as tasks, projects, appointments, meal plans, Brain Dump entries, and completion history.
Your Information Stays Yours
Carrywell requests Google permissions only when they are needed to provide a feature.
Google account information accessed by Carrywell is used to operate Carrywell features such as:
- Working within your Carrywell workbook
- Reading a previous Carrywell workbook when you request an upgrade
- Creating and managing your Carrywell-created Calendar
- Running Carrywell automation and synchronization
Carrywell does not sell Google user data.
Carrywell does not use Google user data for advertising.
Carrywell does not use Google Workspace API data to train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

Google Permissions Are Under Your Control
You choose whether to authorize Carrywell's Google integrations.
You can revoke Carrywell's permissions at any time through your Google Account settings.
Features that rely on those permissions may stop working if access is revoked.
