Recommended Fabrics
Amelia is designed for light- to medium-weight knit fabrics with a minimum of 20% horizontal stretch. Fabrics with good recovery are recommended to help the neckline, sleeves, and body maintain their intended shape while still allowing for a comfortable, relaxed fit.
Recommended fabrics include:

- Lightweight French terry
- Rib knit with good recovery

For a soft, cozy Amelia with a little texture and structure, lightweight sweater knits and lightweight French terry are beautiful choices. These fabrics allow the relaxed body to drape comfortably while giving the bishop sleeves enough body to show off their shape.
For a softer and more fluid silhouette, rayon spandex, modal spandex, bamboo jersey, and double brushed poly work wonderfully. These fabrics create more drape through the body and a softer, flowier appearance through the sleeves.
Cotton lycra and stable rib knits will create a slightly more structured version of Amelia and emphasize the clean raglan lines while still providing plenty of comfort and stretch.
Fabric choice will affect Amelia’s finished appearance. Softer, more fluid knits will create greater drape through the body and sleeves, while more stable knits will give the top and bishop sleeves a little more structure.
